A cruiser is a simple way to enjoy Byron Bay at your own pace. Our pedal-bike hire range includes single-speed and seven-speed cruisers for visitors who want a comfortable everyday bike without electric assistance.

Single-speed or seven-speed?

Single-speed cruiser

Choose a single-speed cruiser if simplicity is your priority. It has a comfortable seat and no gears to change. Our current guide lists a suggested rider height of 150–180 cm and a starting price of $25. It is a practical option for relaxed local trips, provided the route and effort suit you.

Seven-speed cruiser

The Trek Electra seven-speed gives you more choice over pedalling effort. Gears can be useful when your day includes changing gradients or you want to adjust your cadence. The published height guide is 155–185 cm, with starting prices from $30.

How to choose for your day

Think about the route, your confidence on a bike and how often you want to stop. A short outing close to town needs a different plan from a longer ride. Ask the team about fit and your intended route before you set off; the height ranges are a starting point, not a substitute for checking the bike.

What does cruiser hire cost?

Published starting prices are $25 for a single-speed cruiser and $30 for a seven-speed cruiser. The rental period is selected during booking: these figures should not be read as an hourly or daily rate. Enter your dates to see the total, available bikes and any extras.

Collection and delivery

Pickup is from our central Byron Bay shop at 156 Jonson Street. Delivery is also available by arrangement; choose delivery in the booking flow to check the available options. For longer stays, enter your full rental period to check multi-day availability and pricing.
