Before booking several days, think through the practical details that make riding convenient: the route home, where the bike will sleep, what you will carry and when it needs to come back.
Book for the journeys you will actually make
Start with your accommodation location and a few likely destinations. If most plans are in central Byron, walking and cycling may cover a useful part of your stay. A property farther out can involve busier roads or a longer ride than the distance on a map suggests. Ask about the route before committing to using a bike for every journey.
Keep a separate plan for airport transfers, luggage and trips that do not suit your group on a bike. Hiring locally does not mean you need to cycle everywhere.
Compare the whole rental period
Multi-day and longer-term discounts are available. Enter the intended pickup and return dates in the booking system to see the current offer. Compare that total with the days you expect to ride, rather than assuming every daily starting price applies to a week.

Check storage before arrival
Ask your accommodation where a hire bike can be locked securely overnight. A public walkway or emergency exit is not a storage solution. Confirm whether you need to carry the bike upstairs: a heavier e-bike may be impractical even when it feels comfortable to ride.
For electric bikes, discuss charging arrangements at collection and check the accommodation's rules. Use the supplied or approved equipment and follow the team's charging instructions. Do not assume that every venue allows indoor bike or battery storage.

Our central pickup point is 156 Jonson Street, Byron Bay · View map ↗. Delivery can be arranged by request. Send the address, dates, number of riders and any accessory needs so the team can confirm availability, timing and any charge before you rely on it.
Published store hours are 9am–5pm Monday to Friday and 9am–4pm on weekends. Your confirmed hire arrangement sets the collection and return details. If your accommodation checkout is early, organise the bike return separately from your luggage and transport.
Choose comfort for repeated rides
On a multi-day hire, a comfortable fit matters more than choosing a bike only for its appearance. Consider the mounting height, riding position and how you will carry everyday items. Read the bike-choice guide and ask about a rack or basket rather than hanging bags from the handlebars.
